 Mark L. Cockerill, M.D. | Medical Director
Dr. Cockerill earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1987. He completed Diagnostic Radiology residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Systems. Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship training followed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

He then served four years on active duty as Chief of Interventional Radiology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Since 1997 he has been practicing in Virginia Beach / Norfolk, VA with Hampton Roads Radiology Associates. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and has earned the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the American College of Radiology (ACR).

His practice is focused on Vascular and Interventional Radiology and he is committed to educating women and gynecologists about the benefits of UFE.

 Daniel M. Radack, M.D
Dr. Radack earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1991. From there, he completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital followed by a two year Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the same institution.

After a brief stint in private practice in Orlando, Florida, he joined the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center / Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore. He joined Hampton Roads Radiology Associates in November of 2000. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and has earned the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

His practice entails all aspects of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is committed to quality medical care and has been performing UFE and other procedures related to women's health and infertility for the last 5 years.

 Kurt H. Wetzler, M.D.
Dr Wetzler earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed his internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

After completing his training Dr. Wetzler practiced at Pitt County Memorial Hospital / East Carolina University School of Medicine for three years before joining Hampton Roads Radiology Associates in 2003. While in Greenville he helped start that UFE program and participated in the CIRREF national UFE registry.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and has earned the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

 Robert T. Mariano, M.D.
Dr. Mariano earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA in 1995. He then completed his internship at Lehigh Valley Hospital, in Allentown, PA. He relocated to Hartford, CT, to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Hartford Hospital. A fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology followed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Mariano joined Hampton Roads Radiology Associates in July of 2001. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American Medical Association (AMA).

His practice is focused on all facets of Vascular and Interventional Radiology as well as General Diagnostic Radiology. He is committed to providing the highest standard of care utilizing UFE as a promising option for women with symptomatic uterine fibroids.
